Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2015

Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall 2015

Proenza Schouler has been my favourite fashion brand for almost five years now. When I first heard of the duo of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, I was intrigued by the company name alone. I found out that the name came from their mother’s maiden names and I immediately was a fan, but then came the clothes. Over the years I have watched Proenza Schouler transform and go above and beyond with their designs. Always pushing the envelope, they use print and texture in a way that is still sophisticated and conservative. This collection is my favourite of theirs that they have ever came out with. That is saying a lot because they have been in this business for over ten years, and created many phenomenal collections. The difference with their Pre-Fall 2015 collection for me is a sense that they are growing up. They created a wardrobe with staples that women can wear over and over again, or if you would be lucky enough, buy the whole collection and you could be Proenza clad all fall and winter long.  A job well done as always, boys.
