I thought I would name this post after one of my new favourite songs by one of my new favourite bands (that I chose to leave off this week’s Monday Mixtape). The song is The Sun by Tigers Jaw. They are a punk band that I found through Tumblr and I love their music. If you click through the hyperlink it will take you directly to the audio file so you can give them a listen on your own! 

Back to the photos – these are from last week when my friend Ginar and I decided to venture downtown to enjoy a nice spring afternoon. There may have been blue skies, but wearing an open knit in the middle of March wasn’t the best idea I’ve ever had. This knit is one of my favourite pieces I’ve bought this season as it was only $5 from Target. It’s a great cream colour, making it one of the most versatile pieces in my wardrobe. Paired with my favourite blanket scarf from Urban Outfitters, trusty knockoff disco pants and my best friend (and fellow blogger) Kami’s Zara knee-highs, I was good for a stroll along Queen Elisabeth Drive.
